What is Micro-dried Fruit and Vegetable Powders
The unique drying technique gently warms the fruit to decrease microbial burden, using vacuum-microwave dehydration technology to finish drying. How are microdried Fruit and Vegetable Powders made?
When compared to other traditional drying methods, MicroDried proprietary patented drying technology includes a low impact radiant energy vacuum (REV) system for dehydration, which preserves the most natural vitamins, minerals, polyphenols, and other nutrients in the fruit and vegetables while retaining more of the size, flavour, texture, and colour characteristics. MicroDried technique results in 100 per cent naturally delicious and distinctively textured fruit and vegetable components, substantially enhancing mouthfeel.
In other drying processes because of the changes that occur throughout the drying process, resulting in the loss of important nutrients, degraded colour, and poor tongue appeal.
