Red velvet cakes are the trend today.
There are several ways to make a sponge cake with a premix, by adjusting the water and oil levels depending on the texture you like. A typical recipe and making procedure will as below
Ingredients
- Eggless Red Velvet Cake Premix - 1000 grams
- Water - 500 grams (500 ml)
- Oil 100 grams (Sunflower Oil / Canola Oil, based on availability)
Procedure
- Add water and premix into a bowl and mix at low speed for 1 minute
- Whisk at high speed for 4 minutes
- Add Oil and whisk at slow speed for 1 minute
- Bake at 170 to 180 degrees for 35 minutes
