Seasonings

Seasoning is used to enhance enhances the flavour of a dish —something added in a sprinkle or a dash. Often that means salt, but it can also mean spice, herbs, and other flavour ingredients and sometimes even natural colours. The seasoning also plays a pivotal role in masking undesired tastes and aromas that emanate from the underlying base like corn, or potato while delivering the well-rounded flavour. Thus, many times they are the key to consumers loving a product or not.
