Food Texturant as Thickener
In the liquid state food, thickeners are used to improve the viscosity. Dairy products, puddings, dessert fillings, soups, sauces, dressings, and bread mixes all employ thickeners.
Food Texturant as Emulsifier
Emulsifiers are used in foods to keep the oil from separating from the aqueous phase. They're also utilised to make solid powders containing embedded micro-encapsulated oils when combined with other encapsulation components. Emulsifiers are used to stabilise flavour oils in beverage emulsions and to encapsulate flavour and other volatile chemicals into powders in food flavour systems.
